Should I read Tess Gerritsen books in order?

As you can see, Tess Gerritsen is one of my favorite authors. It would be better to read the series of Rizzoli and Isles iin order. Although, characters and events in previous novels appear or are mentioned doesn’t take away the flow of the novel or confuse you from the story your reading.

What kind of doctor is Tess Gerritsen?

Tess Gerritsen left a career as an internist in 1990 to concentrate on writing (and motherhood). But leaving practice didn’t mean leaving medicine behind. Today she’s the author of 17 bestselling medical thrillers.

Is Tess Gerritsen writing any more Rizzoli and Isles books?

I have written romance, suspense, crime thrillers, medical thrillers, paranormal, historical, and science fiction. My last book, The Shape of Night, is a stand-alone. My next book will be book thirteen in the Rizzoli & Isles series, which brings back a happy familiarity to me.

What novel is Rizzoli and Isles based on?

The series’ backstory is inspired by the Maura Isles/Jane Rizzoli series of novels by Tess Gerritsen. Rizzoli appears in the series’ first novel, The Surgeon, and Isles is introduced in the second, The Apprentice, which serves as the basis for the television series.

Do you have to read Robin Cook books in order?

Each book stands on its own, has its own story, and doesn’t continue with the next books in the series. So whether you begin reading the Robin Cook novels starting with Pandemic or Coma, or any of the Jack Stapleton series, it really doesn’t matter all that much.
